Obituary of Melvin Robert Osmond

Today our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of our loved one Melvin Robert Osmond at the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte at the age of 87 years. We cherish all the memories we had with you and can’t wait to meet you again. Left to cherish his many memories are his loving wife Shirley; his four Daughters; Dona (John) Harnett, Donna (Shawn) Snow, Darlene, Delores and son David. He will be forever cherished by his precious grandchildren Brittney, Ashley, Sabrina, Destiny, Natasha, Bryson, Robert and his many great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his siblings; Louise Fudge, Melvina Hill and Laurence (Beverly) as well as a large circle of family and friends. Melvin was predeceased by his children; Dennis and Denise, grandson Devon and granddaughter Christina, sister Pearl Snow and brother Eddie Leyte. Visitation will take place at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Campbellton on Thursday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1pm with internment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
