I'm sorry for your loss, I remember Pats on her Calgary visit when Rod and I were Roomies, Pats had a great sense of humour and was a nice soul. I still have the Horsey placemat she made me. Words can't heal the pain you feel but time will heal and your memories will live on forever. I will keep you both in my prayers and wish you peace as you go thru this difficult time. You both should be proud to be Pats children and I can say she did a great job raising you, as my friendship with both of you tells a story. Stay positive and hold each other in your arms, focus on the good and try to smile. Pats at peace now and she is smiling down on you. Love your friend, Dale

I will always remember her hearty laughter, boundless humour, and precise wit. And also her continued real connection with us, her latter in-laws. Perhaps this was best expressed by her attention paid to our aging parents in their final years, long after your step-dad, my dear brother Pearce passed on. I'll never forget the goodness of that. Perhaps their souls are all rejoicing together in reunion now. And they have a peace that will see them through eternity together. Your pain must be great, but I am certain your memories are greater.
