Obituary of Chesley James Bursey

Chesley James Bursey of Embree, NL passed away peacefully on June 28, 2014 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre at the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Albert and Beatrice Bursey. Predeceased by his brothers; Raymond and Ford; sisters, Ruby Wells, Myrtle Hoddinott, Dulcie Traverse, May King, Kathleen and Ethel. He leaves to mourn wife, Maud; and children, Gary (Brenda), Scott (Verma), Mary-Lou (Rick), Kevin (Patsy), Brian (Brenda), Roy (Pauline); 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Tabernacle in Embree on Monday, from 7-9 pm, and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 2pm, with interment to follow from the Community Cemetery in Embree. Donations may be made in his memory to the Janeway Foundation.
