Gary and all the Bursey Family: May God's peace fill your hearts and minds as you mourn and give thanks for the life of your Mother. I suppose I may have first met your Mother on one of the visits I made to your grandparents house with your Aunt Minnie, my step-grandmother. The last time we met was about fifteen or more years ago at her house when I went to pick up a model boat your Father had made at Nan's request for our son. In the years between, there were occasional meetings and her name would be spoken in encounters with your extended family. I write these things to let you know that as you mark the end of this chapter of your family's history there are those of whom you may not be aware whose lives were touched by your Mother's life, and who also extend sympathy to you on her passing. To Brian, Brenda and other family members, Sorry to hear of the passing of your precious loved one. An angel was sent to earth 93 years ago she served as daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and good friend. Her duties in this life included wearing the hat of a caretaker, homemaker, doctor, nurse, teacher, guidance counsellor, marriage counsellor, financial officer, church member and many more hats she wore. Although she was small in stature, she had wide shoulders, a big warm heart and arms long enough to reach around all those whom she knew and loved dearly. A few days ago this angel returned to Heaven to get her reward that was promised to her and a resounding "Well done thou good and faithful servant!!"
