Pop Gosse always treated me like another one of the grandkids. He welcomed me into the family with open arms and tormented me in the same way he did all the kids. I will always remember the times we shared in BC and his warmth and caring nature. I would like to extend my condolences to Sid, Dallas, Aunt Fluff, Uncle Gerald, Rich, Sherry, Sara, Kristen, Shane, Chelsea and the rest of the family. Calvin will be missed but never forgotten. Earl, Sid, Eileen and Families, I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of your dear father Calvin. I have oh so many fond memories when we were all neighbours on Quinton Street. He was always kind and gentle and always there for a bit of fun. My father and mother, Bob and myself truely valued our friendship and comaradery with the Gosse family. It seems like a lifetime again, but the pleasant memories are oh so vivid. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Very sorry to her of your Father/Grandfathers passing. We both enjoyed our daily visits with him during his recovery periods at home. He sure was a wise man, and had many stories of his travels around the world thur our many waterways. Myself (Yvonne) he provided me with information of this wonderful province that I know live in. I was amazed with his travels, and learning about Icebergs and the many other sites he talked about. One of the last things I said to him, was " to write is own story" and that he did. We will both miss him. Treasure your pictures and memories, the are worthy of a story.
