Am I ever glad I found this page.
My heart is heavy and my eyes are wet thinking about the reality of your absence. As your grandchildren pummel me while I write this I am saddened that they will never truly understand the depth of who you were. I am blessed to have known you, and blessed over, that in your absence, your son has finally stepped into your legacy. You would be proud seeing the transformation as he picks up his cross and brings honor to the Sheppard name.
Thank you, and your beautiful wife, for everything you’ve done, and continue to do.

John and I were saddened to hear that Quincy had passed away. We remember fondly on our visit to Newfoundland Quincy showing us around the new Home he was building. You could see the strong work ethic and pride that went into every part. We were left in awe of his amazing talent. Joan and Family. Our hearts are both saddened and grieved to hear of Quincey's sudden passing. However, we have a confidence that he is basking in the presence of the one that he loved and served. Yes, absent from the body is to be present with the Lord as recorded in Scripture. We also possess a blessed hope of seeing him again.
