Obituary of Harvey G. (Lon) Clarke

It is with great sadness the family of the Late: Harvey G. ( Lon) Clarke of Stanhope; announces his passing at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the age of 58 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sheila; brother, Winston (Marie); six sisters: Glenda (Wilbert) Simms, Janet (Leonard) Tulk, Valarie (Lorne) Rowsell, Karen (Tony) Cole, Marcia (Brent) Bursey, and Kimberley Clarke;  brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Abner and Ruby Clarke, and his sister Cavell.

 Resting at the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Stanhope, visitation will take place on Friday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 16th, at 2pm, with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Stanhope.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the ALS Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, or the Palliative Care Unit (South and Central Health Foundation)
