Obituary of Margaret Burt

Margaret Burt of Embree passed peacefully away on Monday December 25, 2017 at the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte, at the age of 80 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey, parents, Malcolm and Carrie Burt, sisters, Mildred and Ethel Burt.

 Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Rev. Lindsey (Bonnie) Burt, of Saint John, NB; Terry (Darlene) Burt, of Grenfell Hieghts GFW,  daughters, Diane (Keith) Foss of Embree, and Dannette (Pierce) Adams of Embree; grandchildren: Jordon Burt, Jared Burt, Patricia Burt, Marlaina (Dave) Mercer, Brady (Tamara) Foss, Todd (Nikki) Pelley, and Mark Pelley; great-grandchildren: Dylan Mercer, Grayson and Chase Pelley; brothers: Gordon (Blanche) Burt, Malcolm (Marie) Burt, Ivan (Loretta) Burt, Lindo (Jane Atkinson) Burt, and Eugene (Karen Jones) Burt; sisters: Stella (Winston) Farr, Lila (Everett) Jenkins, Gladys Janes, Frances Wheeler, and Yvonne Hopkins , nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 pm from Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Embree, with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery in Embree.
