Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Joe, family and friends. I send my heartfelt condolences in memory of a very special person. I come to know Janette many years ago and I enjoyed her friendship when I would visit with her family in Lewisporte. She was a true pleasure to be around, her smile would light the room when she entered. Over the past number of years I lost touch especially when her dad passed. I kept touch with her sister aunt Bonnie and my uncle Joe but my trips to Lewisporte dwindled and I am sorry for not keeping in touch. May she rest peacefully and enjoy being free from her earthly pain. Godspeed my friend

Sterling and Winnie, The King and Anstey families, Mom and Dad (Charlie and Effie Wheaton),
I knew this day was coming... yet for some reason thought it was still a ways off... my condolences to all who shared in Janette’s life, her sickness and now her passing... she became an extension of our family quite some time ago... a divine appointment I have no doubt... and her weekend visits... shared meals and early morning rises will be missed... she stole pieces of our heart ... if mom and dad came to visit... they would call and see how she was doing... she often was the subject of searches for “what can we get/ send/ bring to Janette?!” Every time I came home, if she wasn’t well enough to visit, I don’t think I would have gotten away with not going to see her...
Especially since being diagnosed, oh how she longed to be reunited with Dave... Now her prayers have been answered... she is with her Saviour... and her husband... in my humanity, I’ve imagined their reunion... how precious... what a hope we have!
I’ve shared this precious woman’s life with all of you... thank you for allowing me that privilege...
May you be surrounded by love and prayers during these difficult times.
