It is with a broken heart that I sit here, trying to find the words to type. I have made several attempts to try and find the right words, but, I'm not sure there are 'right' ones at a time like this.
In 1995, I was welcomed into this family, and was treated like I had always been a member. That went on for 12 years. But, even after my time as a member of the family was up, Nan and Pop were still Nan and Pop in my heart. I didn't visit like I did before, as I was no longer 'family', but, there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think about them. When I heard of Pop's passing, it was as if a piece of my heart went missing. And, now, with Nan moving on, there's another piece of my heart missing. I had never met much sweeter people in my life. They were always so full of love and fun. I even have a recipe for a cookie that I do not know the name of, but, because of where I first tried them, in my book, they are called "Nan Moyles'" cookies! And, that is how they will forever remain. I have so many stories I could share, none of them negative, but, I'm sure I'm just one person out of the many,, many who's lives were touched by both Nan and Pop.
Diane, Cindy, Allan, Karen, Tina, and Quentin, please know that each of you, as well as all of your families, are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. You will always hold a place in my heart. Stay strong, be strong for one another and remember all of the wonderful memories you have. And, know that for the first time in a very long time, her and Pop are together again, without any pain and suffering.
