A lady from a generation whose priority was their needs, more than their wants.A wealth of knowledge learned from life itself, was Mrs Higgins, She could expound on politics, both on the national, and international scene,as well as local shenanigans,that usual brought forth an impish smile.A person like her, is a lost to all. She worked hard and lived long. May she rest in peace. She deserves that.

To the Higgins family my sincere condolences.l left Norris Arm in 1983 and only visited 3 times since then, the day before I left Meta came to the hardware store to wish me safe travels each time back in the arm I made sure to drop in and visit her there was always a kiss on the cheek and a hug and much laughter. Gone but not forgotten RIP Meta.
