Obituary of Joyce Phyllis Hewitt

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Phyllis Hewitt announce her passing at the Lewisporte Health Centre on September 18, 2019 at the age of 73 years.

She was predeceased by: parents Lewis & Daisy Peckford; infant sister; brother Glen Peckford; sister Jean Gregory; brothers-in-law: Edward Blake and Bill Freake; and sister-in-law Violet Pike.

Joyce leaves to mourn with many loving memories: husband Jack; children: Jerry (Jackie) Hewitt, Janice Hewitt, Jacqueline (Jeff) Hill, Jeffery Hewitt, Joy (Neil) Tyler, and Judy (Dave) Segee; grandchildren: Jolene, Chrissy, Chantelle, Justin, Michael, Nathaniel, Jessie, Kristen, Jorden, Aiden, Alexander, and Cole; 16 great grandchildren; siblings: Francis (Betty) Peckford, Ross (Isabelle) Peckford, Scott Peckford, Brian Peckford, Marie (Cyril) Steele, and Kaye Peckford; sisters-in-law: Mary Blake and Jessie Freake; and brother-in-law Edward Pike; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle, Birchy Bay. From where the funeral will also be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Baytona.
