I have no idea if Edna’s family will get this after so much time has passed. I wrote her a letter (she wrote me often) a year or so ago, but had no response which made me wonder. Edna was a great friend, lovely lady and I miss hearing from her. I met her when I started as a very young 20 year old in Cardiology at the I.W.K. Last time I saw her in Laurenceton we had a great visit. I have many wonderful memories of Edna and know she must be missed.

I was very sad to hear about Edna's passing. I have fond memories of visiting here in Halifax when I was very young. As a child I was very delighted when she let me try out her stethoscope while visiting her at work. I remember the night-time swims off the boathouse in Waverly, they felt very special. She was a very fun person to be around. I am posting now because Edna's brother George has also passed away.
