Where to begin, So very sorry I can’t be there.
I knew when my house phone rang Thursday morning it wasn’t going to be good.
But would of never dreamt in a million years..
what I heard that morning, I can’t imagine being there or making the call.
I’ve been in shock every since, I’ve been mad, sad, confused, as I’m sure most of you all are as well..
Trying to convince myself he is not suffering anymore, & he can be at peace now.
No matter what, when or where Matt is one of my big brothers, he has always had my back, sure we butted heads many of times. But he tried his best to look out for me & steer me in the right direction most of the time.. yes he was no saint & neither was I.
And most days I didn’t need or maybe even want his approval, opinion but I got it anyway. And when I was home this past summer, we had a little chat & he told me his was happy for me & proud I found my true happiness with Warren & he approved & it was in that moment( that little chat) I could see he truly cared & I realized how much his approval really meant to me & continues to now more & more everyday..
we are family & we come from all directions, but we all are united & will stand strong for each other, family is family no matter what, we have so many memories to cherish, so many more to make & we will all have a piece of Matt in our hearts that we will carry with us.
He will always be loved & never be forgotten.
We celebrate you my brother, May you now Rest In Peace
