Obituary of Verna Gaye Elliott

Passed peacefully away on Monday, November 9th 2020 at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte. Verna Gaye Elliott aged 70 years was predeceased by her parents: Charles and Cecily Earle, first husband Jerry Welsh, and second husband Reginald Elliott; brothers: Bruce, Freeman, Ralph and Clyde; sisters, Fern and Faye. Leaving to cherish her memory are her sisters: Audrey (Weldon Decker) Patey, Yvonne (Wilfred) Parsons, Jean (Kostner) Wells, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, visitation will take place on Tuesday, from 1-4pm (Following Government Restrictions). Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 from Families Funeral Home at 11am for Family and close friends. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Lewisporte. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
