I was really shocked and sadden to hear about this tragedy. I new Roger through dealing with starters and alternators for work. We use to have good ol yarns about the hunting and fishing and he showed me a few places to fish He was a nice man to deal with for work and loved to share an outdoors story like myself. So sorry to hear of Roger's untimely passing. He was one of those rare people that you could truly say was an earth angel. Roger treated everyone the same and was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved music and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in some of the jam sessions on Tuesday nights. Gonna miss you my friend. RIP Roger.

My deepest sympathies to everyone at the very, very difficult time. Words are never enough to erase the pain you are feeling from this tragedy but I hope knowing that others care about you and share in your grief will comfort you in the days ahead. Roger was a childhood friend and I have fond memories of him throughout the years. Although geography has separated us, I will always remember his sense of humour. In grade four or five, we had walkie talkies and he would say, " yes, ah, moondoggie, can I get a roger on that, over". Of course I would respond "slaaack". His response was an impish chuckle! I remember the good person that he was. He was fortunate to have been raised in a wonderful family who saw the death of his loving mother way too soon also. Oh how much I cannot believe you are gone and I feel so sad for your family and friends Roger. I know that you will be missed tremendously and I just want to wish a heartfelt goodbye to a dear old friend. Rest easy... xo
