My heart broke when I heard the sad news. My mind has been wandering back to the countless numbers of hours I spent at the house and in her company. She was always sputtering about something lol and always gave me credit for Derrick ever passing grade 12 haha. She will be missed by so many. I have known Rowena and her family pretty much my entire life . I always loved it when she would be out in the yard or on the front step so that I could mosey over for a chat . Rowena always has a smile that was contagious . It was an honor to have her as a neighbour and family friend .
