Obituary of Elsie Lillian Bursey

Elsie Lillian Bursey (nee Freake)-Passed peacefully away on February 14, 2021 at Lakeside Homes in Gander. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Hayward, her sons, Neil and Ian; parents, Frederick and Hazel Freake; and granddaughter Ashley. Leaving to treasure her memory: sons, Randolph (Deborah), Darren (Betty), Darryl (Tammy); daughters: Wanda (Lorne) Bursey, Cynthia (Dale) Edwards, Sherry (Ross)Trimm; grandchildren: Russell, Samantha, Kristen, Christina, Victoria, Bettina, Kendra, Drew, Hunter, Dylan, Kenya, Courtney, and R. J.; great-grandchildren: Ian, Rebecca-Lyn, Lucas, Samuel, Sophia, Lilly, Madeline, Peyton, and Liam, Caleb, and Maverick. As well her sisters: Winnie, Louise, Mary, Joy, and Trudy; brothers: Danny, Tony, Dennis, and Tracey; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Due to current Covid 19 restrictions, burial will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Wings Point Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
