Obituary of Marion Harrison

Marion Evelyn Harrison, passed peacefully away into the presence of the Lord on Monday, March 29th, 2021 at The Lewisporte Health Center at the age of 95 years. Marion was born in Too Good Arm the daughter of the late Dorman and Alice Blake.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Norman; son Blake, son in law Vernon; siblings, Lloyd, Heber, Olive, Minnie, Laura, and Maxwell. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children: Patricia (Eldon) Saunders, Kirk (Wanida), of British Columbia, Barney of British Columbia, and Darlene Collett of Ontario; granddaughters, Eva (Vaughn) Clarke, Leticia Harrison of British Columbia; great grandson, Samuel Clarke; step-granddaughter, Cheryl (Phil) Tulk; step great-grandsons Oliver and Elliot; and step grandson Andrew Saunders of Alberta. as well her sister Merle Bailey nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Our precious Mother raised her family moving frequently throughout Canada and living briefly in the US and Mexico. She often made our clothes, our quilts, knit our hats, mittens, and socks. She taught us to be kind, generous and respectful. She never said a negative word about anyone. Her faith in God began in her childhood and carried her throughout her lifetime.
Mom was devoted to her Lord, her family, and her friends. You will be greatly missed dear Mother until we meet again.
Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte, from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday by Pastor Brian Brown at 11 am for Family only. Interment will follow at the St. Matthew's United Cemetery in Lewisporte.
