Lorne was a good friend. I occasionally took him to Lewisporte, to pick up the things he needed, and to the Post Office to get his mail. He loved getting mail, especially when he heard from his family. I last spoke to Lorne at about 8 pm on Saturday night. The last thing he said to me was "remember me in your prayers". Within hours he was gone....a lesson to be learned by all of us....we don't have tomorrow. To Greta, Sherry, families, and friends, our deepest condolences and prayers. Ivan and Gertie Randell.

So sorry to hear of Lorne’s passing. We were good friends through high school and while we hadn’t kept in touch I was fortunate enough to see him a few years ago during a visit to Embree. I will always remember the laughs and good times. My condolences to the Bursey family and his friends. RIP friend. Shawn Tetford, Corner Brook
