Obituary of Gideon Lloyd Tucker

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gideon Lloyd Tucker announce his passing on Sunday July 25, 2021, at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, at the age of 87 years. He was born in Saint Anthony, to the late Truman and Lydia Tucker. Leaving to cherish his memory, his wife, Alma, brothers: Absalom, Boyce (Lillian), Ford (Christina), Roy, Bruce (Diane); many nieces and nephew’s other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Gerald (Jannie) Norman (Dorothy); sisters, Nellie Locke (Fred), Ruby (Maxwell) (Burry); and sister-in-law Hazel. Resting at families funeral home in Lewisporte on Tuesday, with visitation from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 28th, at 2pm from St. Paul’s Anglican church in Lewisporte with interment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the cemetery fund.
