To Marshall's immediate Family and his brothers: John, and Hubert and Pansy, and sisters: Hilda, Margaret and Harold, and Marina,
We were very sorry to learn of the passing of Marshall. He was a very kind and witty man. He always had a joke, or story, to tell and he had a very infectious laugh. I worked with him and his brother, Alec, when they were driving dump truck with loads of crushed stones, or asphalt, for the Department of Highways when building the Trans Canada Highway in Glenwood one summer. I worked at the weigh scales and saw them several times a day as they came by. Marshall always had a quip, or a joke, to tell and they both inquired about our family. It was a pleasure to meet them. Marshall, especially, because you never knew what he was going to say.
Marshall will meet again with Doris, Aunt Dulcie, Uncle Norman and his brothers, including Cedric, in Heaven.
Please accept our sincere condolences.
God bless you all,
The Woolridges
Roderick (Hazel), Clarence, Boyce, Derek, Ina and John Warford, Serena and Terry Mills

We were deeply saddened to hear of your dad's passing. I(Colleen)have so many fond memories of Uncle Marshall when I would visit Porterville as a child. From his singing "Sweet City Woman" to me to our friendly 'arguments' over who was better looking- him or my dad. Too many wonderful memories to recount. In my last conversation with him his words to me were "We have a blessed hope." We do indeed.
We are thinking about you all at this difficult time.
Love and prayers.

To Truman, Marie, Karen and the Porter
Our deepest condolences to the family on the passing of your father.
We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Porter many years ago while we were visiting with Marie and Dean in Porterville. He was such a friendly and pleasant man. I was always amazed at his love for the outdoors and how him and Mrs, Porter did everything together. Gone but not forgotten. May your many memories give you peace and strength to go on during this difficult time.
Thinking of you all,
Ray and Sandra Piercey

To Truman, Marie and Karen and The Porter Family
From the Campbellton to the Eagle and, many rivers in between, He was an ardent salmon fisherman that We knew well, throughout His Life. Our Labrador trips has left lifelong memories. We miss Him and Mom and the Dog on the Red Fox Road each Fall and Winter. On ski-doo trips He led the way and He knew the way.
He had His secret fishing spots and did not divulge a lot of locational information, which led to the question (among His male friends) "Did He tell You where it was ?". In more recent years We, with Him and Doris and sister Margaret and Harold, shared many Christmas meals in each Other's House. It was always a great meal, a great chat and, His 'off-the cuff' reverend graces are lasting memories.
He was a Great Friend, with a friendly greeting, Who has left Us memories forever. Kindest thoughts to All of You at this time. Walter & Ivy
