To Bonnie, Beverly & Wells Family;
We were saddened to read your Mom’s Obituary on the funeral site. Lots of memories came to mind. We enjoyed working alongside Mildred during our time in Embree as your Corps Officers. She was our Home League Secretary and did her job very well. We shared lots of laughs together, and yes there were times we shed tears together. She put her heart and soul in whatever she was doing. She was very hospitable and loved to put on a good spread at the table; she loved to get that cup of tea. And Bonnie remember, if you keep that can of corn and can of ham in your cupboard you will always be ready for unexpected company. (Lol) YES, her greatest blessing in life was her FAMILY. She loved them dearly and mentioned them many, many times with that gleam in her eyes, and she’d give that little laugh. So often she would mention her grandchildren and say, “ Oh my, I wish they never had to go away to work.” Well, Mom’s work, Nan’s work on earth is finished, she have heard the Lord say “Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of thy Lord.”
Children & Grandchildren: Cherish all the wonderful memories you have, and keep her alive in your heart. Praying that you would all sense the comforting arms of Jesus enfolding you in His love during these difficult days. God bless you each one.
