Obituary of Brenda L. Hillier-Morey

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brenda Hillier-Morey announce her passing on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at North Haven Manor in Lewisporte at the age of 73 years. Brenda was born in Corner Brook on January 11, 1949 daughter of the late Herbert and Josie Green. Leaving to cherish her memory are her husband Guy, three children: Charlene (Lora), Jason (Cecilia) and Shane (Jennifer); stepchildren: Eddie (Marsha) and Jessica (PJ); grandchildren: Adam (Colleen), Mackenzie, Morgan, Liam, Lucy, Lily, Kate and Lincoln.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Charlie, sister Edna and brother Bob.
Brenda will be fondly remembered for her many years of contribution to the community and her church. She served as a leader in Brownies, Home League Treasurer, Sunday School and Junior Soldier Teacher, and many other roles.
She was known for her charismatic personality and was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She had an ability to make everyone feel special, and her door was always open.
Brenda will be remembered for her creative abilities. She took great joy in decorating and crafting, with a special love of the Christmas season.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of North Haven Manor for the love and care shown to her and her family.
Resting at the Salvation Army Church in Campbellton with visitation on Friday, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Campbellton.
Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund in Campbellton.
