Obituary of David G. Rideout

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 84 years. David was predeceased by his parents George and Lucy Rideout, parents-in-law Hayward and and Pansy Jennings, son Trevor, son-in-law Allan Moyles, sister Lillian Diamond and brothers Douglas and Lewis Rideout. He will be missed by his wife of 59 years Joyce; daughter Trina, son Clyde (Lisa); daughter-in-law Cavell, grandchildren: Jeremy (Jessica), Katie (Vanessa), Isaac, Spencer, Jessica, Billy, Tiffany, Natasha and Bradley; great grandchildren: Jacob, Jayce, Lila and Sebastian. David will be fondly remembered by his sisters Emily Langor and Patsy (Gilbert) Jennings; sisters-in-law Donna (Barry) Anstey, Maisie Rideout and Ruth Rideout; brother-in-law Winston (Norma) Jennings; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Church in Comfort Cove with visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, July 8. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Comfort Cove. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
