Obituary of Glenn Macpherson Eveleigh

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Glenn M. Eveleigh announce his passing on January 17, 2023, at the Health Science Centre at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents, Mac and Hazel Eveleigh; uncles, Elmo Eveleigh and Clarence Seaward; aunt, Nellie Seaward and his brother-in-law Donald Woolfrey. Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Cassie; daughter Dianne (Dave), sister Betty Woolfrey; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law Welmore and Shirley Randell; nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte with visitation on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held from St. Matthew’s United Church in Lewisporte on Saturday, January 21, at 2pm. Interment will follow at St. Matthew’s United Cemetery in Lewisporte. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Home of the Daffodil Place.
