To the Lewis family,
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Spence. I have many fond childhood memories of being up in the “country” with Spence and Marg and of course Audrey and Bob as our families spent much time together. I will remember Spence the most for the many chats we had with him and Lloyd along their rabbit snare trails, or up to Long Steady. In those chats Spence would always tell me where he had seen some fox or mink sign, to help me with trapping and one time he even got caught in my fox snare, which was a good laugh for us after. I send you all my love and prayers and wish you peace and comfort at this sad time.

Spence was a fun and loving guy who greeted everyone he met with a smile it didnt one take long to get to know what mattered most to him as you spent time in his presence .
He was proud of the life he had built for himself He loved people and all were made feel welcome in his home.
The one thing we had in common was his love for the great outdoors and a good meal of turs with all the trimmings. Spence was the first man I ever met that deboned rabbits but it sure made a good pot of soup. He loved being up in the country you just had to be careful when you put a chainsaw in his hands as he loved cutting down trees!
I think I am safe in saying that one always felt better after they were in his company because of his positive attitude and his outlook on life he will be missed by all who knew him.
