Nan was such a sweet caring lady
When I got to know her and knew she was coming to Ontario I would get her some. Bingo daubers. And we use to. Chat we will never forget her and I’m gunna make sure Abby knows about her great Nan. Gone but never forgotten. We will always love you .

My sweet Nanny, our visits to Newfoundland and yours to Ontario are some of my fondest memories. Sitting at your kitchen table and scratching Bingo tickets, I would tell you how creepy your doll collection was, and you’d smile and say “They’re yours when I’m gone!” to which I would laugh and say “give it to your other granddaughters!”.
You had this knowing smile and sparkle in your eye that is impossible to describe unless you experienced it. Kind to everyone, and fierce when you needed to be.
Thankful you’re at peace, reunited with Poppy once again and I am truly honoured to be your granddaughter. Love you for always!

It was 4 years ago today that a very special lady called me to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day , I said I am supposed to call you but she said, “I know you don’t have a Mom to call since yours passed away ,so I wanted to call you”. Well I said,” you are my Mom now “. For 54 years I have know Mom and she was the best mother in law in the world . You leave behind a lot of people who love you. We will talk about knitting again soon . I will always love you.
