I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Sheila's passing. I will forever cherish my childhood memories of visiting Aunt Sheila and Uncle Clyde in Embree, perfectly content and warm from the woodstove heat and Aunt Sheila's delicious cooked suppers. I will dearly miss receiving handmade cards every birthday, each one making me wonder how it was even possible that one person could make something so intricate and beautiful. Even through some of the worst of her illness this year, Aunt Sheila made sure to send one to Mireille and I on our birthdays - a perfect example of Aunt Sheila's unwavering kindness. Aunt Sheila's strength in the face of so many hardships will forever be an inspiration to me; her courage and unyielding resilience bordering on stubbornness leaves no question that she is Pop Kinden's daughter. I can only hope they are all together again now. I offer my most sincere condolences to Lee, Devin, Michelle, Alec, and all of the rest of the family. I'm so sorry I can't be there in person. Rest in peace to a strong and great woman.

We are so saddened to hear that Sheila has passed away. We send our deepest condolences to Lee, Devin ,Crystal, and the Kinden /Nippard Families. Growing up Sheila was always so kind and caring to us kids whenever she and Clyde would visit. I remember Sheila, Clyde, my Mom and Dad all sitting around the table so many times and all you could hear was laughter coming from them with Clyde telling his endless jokes. She always had such a beautiful smile. I will remember her always as a kind, caring, and loving person. May you rest in peace now Sheila and be reunited with Clyde. xo

To the family, There are no words to describe how heartbreaking to hear of Sheila’s passing. A beautiful friend and colleague and more importantly the one who always reminded us of our Greenwood Retiree (Mafia) monthly luncheon. What a joy it was to get together and reminisce and always enjoy a few laughs. Sheila you will definitely be missed. Hold on to your memories, they will help you through the difficult times. Sending hugs & prayers to you all. RIP my friend.

To Sheila’s pride and joy… her family. How do you sum up in words how you feel right now as you say good bye to such an admirable lady. Sheila and I started out as classmates, we graduated together, went to university together, taught together and continued on our friendship well after we retired and YES shared many laughs and heartfelt conversations over luncheons at the Brittany Inns. I too was a member of that retiree group( the mafia as we were named). Sheila was our social butterfly who reminded us each month. She loved getting together and sharing our lives. Most of all she loved to laugh and even with all she was dealing with throughout her illness, she saw fit to smile and reminisce. I hope we continue our luncheons in her honour but they will never be the same.
In closing I share the words Sheila chose to put on one of her homemade cards she sent me just a few months back when I was not feeling up to par. (Remember she was dealing with her own battles at that time)….Faith is about trusting even when you don’t understand… Hang in there! Now I pass these words onto Lee, Devon and the rest of Sheila’s family.
Rest easy my beautiful friend. ♥️

Sheila came into my life while we studied Education at MUN! To my delight Sheila arrived at Coughlan College and her kind gentle manner was very welcomed on our residence floor. Sheila's smile brightened every room she entered. Our circle of friends was so fortunate to have her calm and very smart wit join us. Over the years I received Sheila's beautiful cards and she proudly sent pictures her family. This Special woman will be surely missed. Condolences to the family. Dianne Devin (Rolfe)
