Harry was my playmate as a child living in Laurenceton. We spent many days swimming in the ocean fronting Harry’s home. I have a picture of Harry and my daughter Kim hanging in my room.
So sorry for your loss.

To Shirley, Roger, Rick, Holly and extended family. We are saddened to hear of Harry’s passing. For many years it was our privilege to have the LeDrew’s as our next door neighbours. The Ellsworth family are very grateful for Harry and Shirley’s kindness to Oral’s parents when they were neighbours. Harry was kind, considerate, very helpful, sincere and consistent and also a Godly man. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you have a real sense of God’s presence with you and may His grace, love and peace fill you with the strength you need at this time. God Bless you all.

Shirley and Family:If loving concern could be measured in miles you have a lot of miles to your credit for those innumerable trips to Botwood, and Grand Falls hospitals! Anyone who knew your husband, knew that he was fine man, with a warm and friendly demeanour, and a wonderful person to have a “yarn” with because he was interested in so many things especially the great outdoors! As you mourn and celebrate his life be assured of our prayers for your strength and support,God Bless!

Shirley, Rick, Roger and Holly,
I was sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. I have many happy childhood memories of visiting your family with my parents. In later years I enjoyed bringing my father and his wife Mabel out for a visit on various occasions. I especially enjoyed accompanying Harry on my guitar while he played some tunes on his accordion.
Sincere condolences.

Shirley, Rick, Roger and Holly, please accept our sincerest condolences on your loss. Harry was indeed a kind and gentle sole who will be missed by all who knew him. George was telling us just recently of how Harry took him to his first day of school many years ago.
Our thoughts are with you,

It was our blessing to live within a sling shot to the Ledrew property. We have so many memories of Harry while growing up in Laurenceton. His sense of humour and his tongue in check grin when he would be teasing us about something. Harry would post valentine notes on our back door pretending they were from some of the local girls. His love of hockey and his passion to motivate us when we would play the local teams was amazing. We spent many nights watching HNIC at the Ledrew’s on Saturday nights where Harry would seem to have commentary that was fit for TV. We of course can’t forget the rink he built in yard for us to play hockey.
Harry had a quiet faith but we knew it was strong and we loved to see him in church. You will be missed but your memories will live on in our hearts. It’s not goodbye we know we will see you again!
Our prayers are with Shirley , Rick, Roger, Holly and the rest of the family. We pray that God will give peace and strength during your time of sadness.
Proudly Serving You from Lewisporte, Newfoundland
