Obituary of June Jeanette Iris Bursey

June Jeanette Iris Bursey (nee Haynes) – Aged 77 passed peacefully away in Lewisporte, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017. Loving wife of Norman; beloved mother of: Ford (Anne) and Linda (Grant) Richard; cherished grandmother of: Alex Bursey (Julia Power), Elliott Bursey, and Travis Richard; dear sister to: Roy Haynes and Mac (Emmie) Haynes; sister-in-law to: Minnie Haynes, Nettie Bursey, Olga Broderick, and Sheila Murphy; also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, family and friends. June was predeceased by: parents Hilda and James; brothers: Ronald, James, and Franklin; and sister Nellie Thomas. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Families Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive, Lewisporte. The family would like to extend special thanks to nieces Sue White and Sue Haynes and dear friends Clem and Vida Snow; as well as caregivers Daphne Sheppard and Marie King and the staff of the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre 3A and Lewisporte Health Center, Palliative care.
