So shocked and sadden to of Craig's passing. I have know Craig since he was a boy and started coming to Carmanville to fish with his dad. I was a monitor on the wharf back then. We became friends the and remained so over the years. Had so many meaningful conversations with Craig over the years, the last being at Costco in December of last year, when he told me his liver was starting to fail, I wished him all the best but didn't think the end was so near. Through all the ups and downs that life threw at Craig, I know as does everyone that knew him his heart was very big and his dad was his idle. Rest in peace my friend and you will surely be missed. Roy and I have so many memories of Craig though for vastly different reasons . I will always remember Craig bounding into the main office at Cape John Collegiate - all abroad - with that big mischievous smile on his face just to say hello or have a chat . You always knew when he was there because his big personality would fill up the room ! Roy remembers when Craig would get out of school and fish on the Ocean Glider for the summer . What fun times they had . To the Burton Family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Craig. I will always remember Craig's smile and his sense of humour. I always enjoyed spending time with him, weather it would be on ski-coo, ice fishing, or on the Ocean Glider. After visiting with him a few weeks back at the health science, I realized than that Craig was very ill. I am happy to know that he is now free from all pain and sickness and that he is in a better place. Glen and Vida, I am so sorry to hear of Craig's untimely passing. I have many memories of him, going back quite a few years. The first time I ever met him, he was smiling from ear to ear. How could you not like him and be glad of his presence? His smile and gentle manner is the image of him that I'll carry around in my head. I am very sorry to hear about Craigs passing. I got to spend time with Craig on a few occasion's during his many snowmobile trips to Gander. Hello, folks. I am a friend of Jodi and Jennifer's in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. I did not know Craig, but have been able to hear so many great things about him. There are never words enough to offer comfort at such a difficult time, but, as I have told Jodi, you will always have so many great memories of you son, father, brother, uncle and friend. I am so sorry for your loss and for not being able to attend the funeral. I really wanted to be there but was traveling the kids. Craig was a ray of sunshine and ALWAYS made me, and others laugh.
