Dear Family, Sending you all our deepest, most heartfelt condolences on the untimely loss of sweet Bruce. Bruce was one of the kindest people I knew, with such a deep love of life and family. His passion for family history and his amazing memory and gifted storytelling abilities helped Bruce to bring the Nippard family stories alive for all of us- this was an especially wonderful treat for us Ontario kids. Our trip to Newfoundland with Bruce in 2006 was one of the best trips of my life. He shared countless amazing and touching stories of childhood in Embree, recounting tales of adventures shared back then with my mom Ella, Theresa, Juanita and many more of the family. Although they were just children, they were one another's truest companions and fiercest protectors. Bruce loved to laugh, and he gifted us all with his amazing, unrelenting sense of humour. There wasn't a time that I saw him that he didn't have me laughing so hard I would cry. He was truly the funniest person I've ever met, and I am so thankful to have known him. The world was made better, and lighter, by Bruce's presence. And although he loved to laugh, he loved family above all else. It is wonderful to think he's with his sweet mother and his beloved brother right now. But we are all left at a loss here, imagining our world without him.
