To Christopher, Justin , Roy and Charlotte and all of your families including the daughter I have never met: I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. We were friends since early childhood and I have so many wonderful memories of growing up with Wayne living almost next door. We had so much fun as children and he was a wonderful man. Chris, Justin, the Woolfrey's, family, and many friends, Please accept my condolences regarding Wayne's passing. When I did a very brief stint in Karate, Wayne was a very respectful and patient teacher. A good teacher makes for a great student of any art. He was also quick to smile, quicker with a joke, and a respected banker. These traits rarely go hand in hand today. He'll be missed and it's another loss to small town charm and the good old days for many. Wayne also spent time with someone very close to me to help pass time, to have a yarn, and some fun. I hold no gavel but my bet and wish is that he rests in peace free from suffering. Celebrate the many good times. Smile and laugh like he did. I apologize for this tardy note. God bless. I was saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. We have known each other since our school days in Lewisporte. I had a chance to spend some time with Wayne while he was in hospital here in St. John's and we had some great chats. One thing was for certain, during those chats and that was his love and caring for his two sons and his grandchildren. His special, lifelong friendship with Ruth Budden meant a great deal to him as well and she felt the same way about Wayne. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
