Obituary of Ronald Dennis Chippett
Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dennis Chippett announce his passing on February 1, 2023 at the Health Science Centre at the age of 67. Dennis was born in Campbellton a son of the late Thomas and Myrtis Chippett.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving and devoted wife Donna, two precious daughters, Natasha (Jason) Mercer and Jennifer (Mike) Paddock; four adored grandsons, Mason, Riley, Jayden and Nicholas. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Alfreda (Grant), Nellie, Sally (Lloyd); his brothers, Randy, Dan and Alex ( Beulah), (who he enjoyed fishing with). His sisters-in-law Suzanne (Blair), Paula (Joe), Verna Chippett and Tracey; brothers-in-law, Rob, Stephen (Julie); mother-in-law Susan and a large circle of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Bob, Allan (Dick) and Ben; father-in-law Bob Adams, brother-in-law Gilbert Freake and sister-in-law Jean Chippett.
Dennis was never one to sit still. He loved the outdoors and fishing with his grandson Mason, who is his mini me. Riley, who is following in his pop’s footsteps, fixing and repairing everything. Jayden, his side kick making sure his chickens are looked after and things are done. Nicholas, who always kept him smiling.
Family was everything to Dennis, especially his children. He loved all his busters, spending time with them and making them laugh. I am sure he is wearing his sneaker boots along the Riverside, fishing rod in his hand, looking at the berries wishing he had a container to fill.
Dennis was a hard worker and his work family was important to him. He loved his job with the town of Campbellton and enjoyed helping out the dart League.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Because of his love for animals donations in his memory may be made to the Gander and area S.P.C.A.
